Chapter 576 Earning a Difference
Chen Hui waited at the door for two or three minutes.
Chen Yaozu came out empty-handed and went to the bicycle storage area on the side.
Pointing at Chen Hui, he chatted with the aunt who was in charge of watching the car for a while.
The aunt fanned herself and stared at Chen Hui seriously for a long time.
Then he nodded to Chen Yaozu and said a few words.
Chen Yaozu pushed his bike out, got on it and raised his chin towards Chen Hui: "Follow me!"
"Uncle Yaozu, what did you say to her just now?" Chen Hui stomped his feet twice, followed Chen Yaozu and asked.
"I told her aunt that you guys were delivering goods to a state-owned restaurant, and asked her not to charge you for depositing them in the future!"
"This auntie is not very good at recognizing people. Remind her next time after you park your car." Chen Yaozu said.
"Oh, okay, I remember that."
"So are we going to your house now?" Chen Hui guessed based on the route.
"Yeah! The hotel's freezer is not easy to use. There are so many messy things in it."
"Come to my house. It's empty today. You can freeze in there."
"Octopuses are different from other fish. Even if they are frozen and then thawed, they look the same as if they had just died."
"Freeze it whole and thaw it whole when needed. You can say it was caught the day before."
Chen Yaozu said this and gave Chen Hui a sly smile.
"Uncle Yaozu, you understand a lot." Chen Hui said with a smile.
Chen Yaozu laughed and continued:
"There are some differences between frozen octopus and live octopus."
“Unless you have a very picky palate and you make the comparison at the same time, you won’t be able to tell the difference.”
Chen Hui originally planned to kill and clean the giant octopus, then freeze it in pieces.
Now that I think about it, what Chen Yaozu said is right.
Chen Hui went to Chen Yaozu's house to eat twice, and both times they only took place in the living room and at the dining table.
It was the first time I entered the kitchen today that I saw his freezer.
"Uncle Yaozu, do you have any bags?" Chen Hui asked after looking around.
"Who has such a big bag?"
"I see your water tank isn't that big. I'll put the things in it in the refrigerator, and you can just put the water tank in there."
As Chen Yaozu spoke, he put some frozen fish from the freezer into the refrigerator.
Chen Hui took the water tank and tried it, and found that the size was just right.
Just put the water tank and the big octopus in it.
"Uncle Yaozu, is this freezing cold?"
"I need it at noon on the 26th. Should I come on the 25th or in the morning of the 26th?" Chen Hui asked.
"Come on the 26th, try to be earlier." Chen Yaozu said.
The two of them went back to the state-owned restaurant together and settled the bill for the two pieces of red grouper.
Chen Hui returned to Chen Huihong's home with the money.
The house was quiet, with only the sound of the TV coming from the room.
Chen Hui took a look.
Sea bass, rusty crabs, large sea urchins, and the abalone that the trio brought back from the sea have all been kept in the tank.
Chen Hui knocked on the door.
He pushed it in, turned on the light and asked, "Uncle, you guys have settled your accounts and are back? So soon?"
"That's just a few things. It will be done in no time."
"Where's your giant octopus? Did you freeze it at Captain Wang's house?"
"How much did those two fish sell for?"
As Wu Shuisheng spoke, he moved closer to the bed which was still covered with a straw mat.
An era when there was no concept of living room.
It is common for a whole family to each occupy a seat and squeeze on one bed to watch TV.
Chen Hui sat on it naturally.
Cross your legs and take up space.
He took out some money from his pocket and said, "He gave me ten yuan for one pound. The two fish weigh three pounds in total. Here!"
Chen Hui handed the money to Wu Shuisheng. "You have so much?"
"Then I made a profit. We estimated that we would pay eight dollars, and the bill came to twenty-four dollars."
"The accounts have been settled, and the extra money belongs to me. There is no need to divide it up."
Wu Shuisheng took the money with surprise and said happily.
"Where's my aunt?"
"I went to the vegetable garden."
Chen Hui nodded, got off the bed, found his shoes and put them on.
"Where are you going? The commercial is about to end!" Wu Shuisheng asked.
"I'll go find my aunt and see if there's anything I can help with." Chen Hui said as he walked out the door.
"Ah?!" Wu Shuisheng looked at the door, suspecting that he had heard it wrong.
He threw himself at the end of the bed and shouted outside: "What did you say just now? Say it again?"
"I said, I'm going to the mountain to find my aunt and help her with some work."
Chen Hui went into the utility room, found a large backpack, and put the sickle into it.
Just as I was about to go out, I saw a slingshot hanging at the door.
I took it down, tested its pulling force, put it in the backpack, and went out with the backpack on my back.
"Oh my god! I'm really going to work."
Even though he heard it clearly twice, Wu Shuisheng still felt it was unreal.
In the end, I can only sigh once again: "This man who wants to be a father is more terrifying than getting married."
When he first talked about getting married, Chen Hui became much more motivated.
Now that he is going to be a father, he will take the initiative to go up the mountain to help with the work without being asked or yelled at.
Wu Shuisheng was very surprised and continued watching TV.
When I was looking for Ganoderma lucidum some time ago, I just came here with Wu Shuisheng to find the way.
Chen Hui carried a backpack and walked up the mountain road.
I arrived at the place and looked around but didn't see anyone.
He uttered a sentence with all his strength: "Chen~Hui~Hong!!!"
"Who's looking for Chen Huihong?"
The voice sounded familiar.
Chen Hui looked in the direction of the voice and found that it was Wang Huiying who lived next door to Chen Huihong.
He asked with a smile: "Aunt Wang, your vegetable garden is here? Have you seen my aunt? Isn't she here to work today?"
"It's Huihong's nephew."
"She's not on this side today. She's up there."
"Just keep going up this road. When you reach the end, ask a villager and you'll know." Wang Huiying said, pointing at the road under Chen Hui's feet.
"Go all the way up? Go to the end? Is it very far?" Chen Hui asked.
"That's quite far. It will take at least half an hour to walk."
"Oh, I see. Thank you, Aunt Wang."
"Hey! What are you thanking me for? Young people nowadays are really polite."
Wang Huiying joked and went back to her farm work.
Chen Hui carried the backpack and walked along the mountain road to the end.
He grabbed a villager who was about to go down the mountain and asked, "Uncle, do you know where Wu Shuisheng's land is?"
"Over there, walk a little further and you'll hear it if you shout."
"Who are you to Wu Shuisheng?"
We are from the same village and everyone is a relative.
The villagers answered Chen Hui's question and asked casually.
"I'm his wife's nephew, and I'm here to help with some of the work." Chen Hui said with a smile.
"Oh, my nephew from my mother's family."
"It's good to be able to help with some work, go ahead, go ahead."
The old man obviously lost interest in chatting and waved his hand in the direction he had pointed.
