Chapter 186: Gathering Evils and Drawing Talismans
"Young master, why are you so happy?" Aunt Sun, who was serving on the side, saw Li Daoxuan laughing for no reason and asked in confusion.
The young master has been looking gloomy these past few days, and it's clear that he has something on his mind. Aunt Sun is both worried and a little conflicted.
After all, the Third Young Master is still young, and she is always worried that something might happen.
Young people are full of energy and their depressed hearts always need to be vented.
If anything happened, she, as a servant, would not be able to bear the consequences.
"I just figured out some things." Li Daoxuan picked up the ginger tea and drank it all, then laughed and said, "Mother Sun, I want to wash up."
"I'll go and ask them to boil some hot water. Please wait a moment, young master." Seeing that Li Daoxuan looked comfortable, Aunt Sun felt relieved.
She walked briskly towards the house, and soon the voice of Aunt Sun was heard, she was instructing the maids.
"You little girls, hurry up and prepare some hot water."
After the hot water was ready, Li Daoxuan closed the door and took off his clothes.
The maids wanted to help her take a bath, but he drove them all away.
Although ordinary people would enjoy this kind of service, Li Daoxuan would feel uncomfortable. He was far from being accustomed to having other people's hands touching him.
Relaxing in the bathtub, Li Daoxuan looked up at the beams of the house.
The wooden beams have been stained with a layer of black paint over the years. If they are not repaired regularly, they will probably rot.
The rain in the south is not as heavy as that in the north. The air often feels damp, and the walls are so damp that water droplets can be seen hanging on them.
Therefore, people in the north don’t like to come to the south, but they envy the southerners’ skin, which is moisturized by water and always looks whiter.
Looking at this scene, Li Daoxuan suddenly thought of a sentence: The building is about to collapse.
The entire Qing Dynasty was like a wooden plank that had not been repaired for a long time. The wooden beams had long been eaten clean by ants and insects, leaving only a few thin supports, and it was crumbling.
But if the house is built on a good Feng Shui site, perhaps anyone would want to occupy it.
This is true for Westerners and Easterners alike.
Japan, which was undergoing the Meiji Restoration, had always been eyeing the land of China.
The Sino-Japanese War was inevitable, and the various missionaries that appeared on the land of China during this period, apart from preaching for profit and ideological enslavement, were they not the intelligence minions of those tigers, leopards, jackals and wolves? Weren't they trying to shake China through the use of mystical arts?
The Japanese wizard who came to Lijia Village might be one of the spies who came to explore the way.
"To understand the situation of Shenzhou Xuanmen?" Li Daoxuan said to himself.
Knowing the developments of later generations, one can naturally guess the purpose of these Japanese wizards.
The fact that they can act recklessly in Jinling also shows that Xuanmen is weak and no one cares about them.
Now that Changming Zhenren has been summoned to the capital by the imperial court, it is possible that the same may be true for all the high-ranking Zhenren from other sects. If this is true, it will be a good time for these Japanese magicians to act.
Lijia Village is just one of their targets. Perhaps there is a bigger conspiracy surrounding Jinling.
Every man has a share of responsibility for the fate of his country, but there is only one Li Daoxuan.
He can't take care of so many people or so many things.
He could only take care of the affairs in Lijia Village and let those villagers who died tragically rest in peace.
"Master Japanese magician, maybe I should go ask Uncle Jiu." Li Daoxuan thought to himself and decided to ask Uncle Jiu after entering the illusion.
There are still differences between the Eastern Yin-Yang Taoism and the Shenzhou Xuanmen magic. Even the similar Yinshan School has differences between them.
The magic spells of the hundreds of schools are very different. If you can't break them with corresponding methods, it will be difficult to subdue the opponent.
After all, the magic of Xuanmen is like this, you need to know and understand it before you can break it.
"I wonder if Uncle Nine has come back."
Thinking of Uncle Jiu’s departure before, Li Daoxuan really missed him a little.
Standing up from the bathtub, he wiped the water off his body and put on his clothes.
The maids were waiting in the hall. When they saw Li Daoxuan coming out, they hurried to greet him. They used a clean towel to help him wipe the water off his hair, and then they fumigated his long hair with spices.
This is something that ordinary wealthy people do. It can reduce lice in the hair and keep the hair clean and fresh, making people feel comfortable.
After taking care of everything, Li Daoxuan walked out of the house. Aunt Sun sent him a message, saying that the old village chief sent someone to invite him to discuss matters tomorrow, saying that a man was caught in the village, who came from another place, but he didn't know if it was the thief who harmed people, so he asked Li Daoxuan to go and take a look.
Li Daoxuan nodded in agreement and went upstairs.
He walked into the room, took the incense and lit it, then bowed three times towards the altar, chanting the sacrificial formula.
On the altar, there is now a peach wood sword and twelve bamboo swords, as well as several paper figures, each standing on the table.
He walked around the altar, stepping on the magic circle and the magic wand, chanting: "The Tao is learned from the heart, and the heart is passed on through incense. Incense burns in the jade furnace, and the heart is in front of the emperor. The true spirit is looking down, and the immortal flag is in front of the pavilion. Today, I report to you, and it will reach the nine heavens directly."
Turn three times, recite the mantra, and then insert the incense into the incense burner.
He took another sip of tea and sprayed it towards the altar.
This method is the Maoshan's Kailu method, which means to receive the water from heaven and earth and open the three-dharma teaching platform.
Each magic spell has its own mystery. When the altar is opened, it naturally gathers the energy of heaven and earth.
After he was able to observe Qi, he realized the ethereal and illusory nature of Qi. Perhaps many of Taoist magic and rituals were closely related to this Qi.
After the ritual was completed, Li Daoxuan came to the table, took out two Heavenly Emperor seals as paperweights, and placed them on both sides of the table.
Then take another general talisman and pray to the Great Emperor Zhenwu.
Zhenwu eliminates demons, Xuanwu suppresses evil.
In this world, although Wudang is not as famous as Maoshan, its magic is so sharp that no one can rival it.
There is a saying in Taoism: The talisman does not come from the Three Mountains, the technique does not come from the Southern Barbarians, and the magic does not come from Wudang.
This is enough to show that Wudang's method is famous all over the world.
"Please come to the Great Emperor Zhenwu." Li Daoxuan bowed towards the general talisman.
Then grind the cinnabar, add it to clear water and chant: "This water is not ordinary water. A drop of it in the inkstone will bring clouds and rain in a moment. If a sick person swallows it, all diseases will be eliminated and evil spirits will be crushed. Hurry up and obey the command!"
He tapped the paper with his hand and read: "The Northern Emperor ordered me to write a talisman on this paper to slay the evil spirits. Anyone who dares not obey will be taken to the capital city as ordered!"
He picked up the pen and composed the Tiangang Jue, chanting: "I will gather the Five Thunder Gods, the lightning and the light, to protect my life, to bind ghosts and subdue evil, no matter life or death, I will live forever, hurry up and obey the command!"
He dipped the brush in cinnabar, pinched his fingers and chanted: "Heavenly Garden is a place with nine chapters of laws and orders. I write now, and all the ghosts are hiding. Hurry up and obey the orders!"
Recite the mantra three times, then take a sip of tea and spit it out towards the east.
He took up his pen and drew the talisman on the paper, chanting as he drew: "The sun rises in the east, and the yin and yang are magnificent. I command this talisman to sweep away all the bad luck. I will spit out the water of Samadhi from my mouth, and my eyes will shine like the sun. I will use the Tianpeng Lishi to catch monsters, and the Zhensha Vajra to cure diseases. I will subdue the monsters and turn them into auspiciousness. Hurry up and obey the command!"
After the incantation was finished, the talisman was also drawn.
This time, when Li Daoxuan drew the talisman, he was not only using the Shangqing talisman method.
Since receiving the instruction from Uncle Jiu, he understood the Taoist principle that all methods share the same origin, which is even more mysterious and can be used flexibly.
When there is energy flowing through the tip of the pen, evil is gathered therein.
This method of gathering evil spirits and drawing talismans was the first time that Li Daoxuan had completed it.
Normally he would rely on his abundant Dan Qi to draw talismans, but this time he was going through a ritual to gather Dan Qi to draw the talisman.
An old Taoist once said that it is easy to draw talismans but difficult to eliminate evil spirits.
To draw a talisman, you need three evil spirits. Without the three evil spirits and the spirit, the talisman will be difficult to make.
All kinds of talismans, evil spirits and curses have been passed down orally from master to master since ancient times and have not been written down.
So the poem says: It is added every month, and Po Jun is seen from time to time. The person before Po Jun swears not to pass it on to others.
Holding the talisman, Li Daoxuan circled it three times on the incense, then pinched the Vajra Seal and tapped the talisman. He then saw a flash of light on the talisman, and there was a spirit in it.
After drawing a few more pictures, he saw the Yin-Yang fish appear in his eyes, and three black fish gathered together. Li Daoxuan suddenly felt very tired.
After tidying up the things on the table, he set up the formation and fell into a dream.
