Chapter 202: Western leader, Buddha is originally Tao

"Haha, it's actually this thing!"

Xu Chunlin looked at a milky white ball in the brocade box. Sealed in the ball was a scholar's spirit of righteousness.

Even if you put it next to your ear, you can still faintly hear thousands of students reciting: Confucius said...

He couldn't help but fall into deep thought.

What Zhang Fuyao gifted was the luck of Confucianism.

He alone possessed 80% of the luck of Confucianism, but now he gave 30% of it to Xu Chunlin. If Xu Chunlin followed Confucianism, he could become a Confucian saint with this 30% of Confucian luck.

But unfortunately, Xu Chunlin took the path of integrating the three religions. Whether it was Confucianism, Taoism, or Buddhism, they were all the same to Xu Chunlin.

People in the three religions are mostly kind-hearted. Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism have the same goal, which was the foundation for Lu Zu's original integration of the three religions. The root of the common goal of the three religions is "reasoning". People in the three religions attach the most importance to rules.

The Book of Changes is in accordance with the laws of heaven and earth, so it can comprehend the Dao of heaven and earth. People in the three religions practice the Dao of heaven and earth, so they can achieve Dao more effectively. However, the disadvantage is that it is difficult to transcend Dao and one needs to follow the rules of Dao.

Xu Chunlin himself is beyond the rules, and the so-called theory of luck does not apply to him.

He entered the realm of earthly immortals in one step and ascended to heaven in one step. However, Xu Chunlin himself felt that there was still something uncompleted in the first level of realm.

That's why there is the way of asking Tai'an, discussing Confucianism on Shangyin, perfecting one's own way, reflecting what one has learned, nourishing all the classics in the furnace, and integrating them into one.

Lu Dongbin and Li Bai are actually just the ultimate incarnations of Xu Chunlin in certain aspects.

As long as his own path is perfected, he can easily step into the realm of a saint who has integrated the three religions into one.

As for Xu Chunlin's original plan to incarnate as a drunkard monk discussing Buddhism at the Liangchan Temple, it had to be temporarily shelved due to some arrangements made by the deity.

It seems that I have a new idea.

However, when it comes to sharing the Buddhist insights, Xu Chunlin's would not be missing.

He just needs to wait for the harvest.

In three years, Xu Chunlin had already planned the route he would take, and at the same time he wanted to survey the world and compile a book on dragon-slaying techniques for himself.

Where the people are from, where the disaster happened, who is the culprit, why did they suffer the disaster, why did they die, every single thing is recorded in Xu Chunlin's book.

Just wait until the time comes and overturn the world!

Xu Chunlin took the milky white ball in his hand and shook it, and couldn't help laughing.

How could Xu Chunlin not know what Zhang Fuyao was planning? He had been dominating the world's literary destiny for too long, and had accumulated eight hundred years of scholarly spirit. He was fed up with it and exhausted.

The world has been changing rapidly for eight hundred years and he wants to take a break and find a successor to rule the world in his place.

The road we have taken!
Unfortunately, Xu Chunlin had no such intention at all. Perhaps Zhang Fuyao identified too well with the Four Lines of Hengqu, or perhaps Xu Chunlin acted too realistically, which gave him the illusion that Li Bai could fight for all the living beings in the world.

In fact, Xu Chunlin is always selfish.

What he wants is bigger!

Xu Chunlin put the brocade box back in place. He didn't need luck to impact the so-called Confucian sage, but that didn't mean others didn't need it. This thing might be useful in the future, so he could just consider it as a betrothal gift from Old Zhang.

Xu Chunlin looked at the Jinzhou City right in front of him, looked at the old man and the young man, and a little yellow horse that appeared in his field of vision, and then looked at Wen Hua behind him, and couldn't help but sigh at the wonder of fate.

We'll meet each other eventually! ———

at the same time.

Outside Liangchan Temple.

Two young monks came.

One of them has a body like a diamond, a spirit like a lotus in the Pure Land, is tall and sturdy, with muscles like beautiful jade, harmonious and natural. He wears a golden Buddhist robe with half of his body exposed under the slanting collar, with a gold lacquer mark between his eyebrows, showing a solemn and precious appearance, and a wine gourd tied around his waist.

One of them has fair skin and a look like the wisdom heart of Bodhi. He wears a moon-white monk's robe with silver patterns. He has a thin and frail figure. The wide white monk's robe rustles in the wind from the sandalwood trees. His left hand is raised straight in front of his chest, with a silver lacquer mark between his eyebrows, showing an appearance of compassion.

Behind both of them, infinite Buddha light appeared and Zen sounds were heard, as if thousands of Buddhas were bowing down to them.

The two people who came had their own Dharma names.

The tall one is named: Yuanyin!
The one with thin stature is named: Bodhisattva!
Compassionate acceptance, magnanimous acceptance, root and effect cause and condition, leading all living beings, this is called cause and condition guidance.

According to the Pure Land Sect, those who practice the Pure Land method are endowed with good roots, blessings and causes and conditions, and who chant the Buddha's name even with a single-minded focus. At the time of their death, a Buddha will come to lead them to rebirth in the Pure Land.

To be suddenly enlightened, to realize the truth, to see the mind and nature, to cut off worldly troubles and achieve the wisdom of Nirvana is called Bodhi mind.

With great vows, he abides in the truth, with great wisdom, he eliminates confusion, possesses all causes, practices and acts, is brave in wonderful existence, escapes from the void, and achieves nirvana. He defeats the evil ways of demons and removes all suffering; he upholds the goodness of the Buddha's nature and gives all happiness.

The monk said, "The deity has promised us two to go to Hezhou in the West and to establish our Western Dharma lineage. We will do our best. This world of Buddhism is predestined to be with us in the West!"

The monk Bodhi Heart also smiled and said, "Just as it is, I am in the Western Regions of sorrow and suffering. Now the three realms have been integrated into the Hongmeng, but the various Buddhas in the Jiangye Realm are unbearable and are actually demonic."

"In this world, there are great enlightened beings, people of great wisdom, who should become my disciples in the Western Paradise."

The monk Yuanyin was delighted by this and pulled down the wine gourd from his waist without hesitation, drank it all in one gulp and said, "That Li Dangxin, who has attained the essence of the first-grade Great Vajra Realm, has long lost the need for Zen and first proposed the concept of sudden enlightenment."

"When Li Dangxin returned from his journey to the West, there was a rumor that eating a piece of the flesh of a white-robed monk would give him immortality. Evil spirits flocked to him, but no one succeeded. Finally, when Li Dangxin was near Chang'an, he cut off a piece of his flesh and gave it to a dying man from hunger and cold in front of everyone. A few years later, the old man died peacefully, but he did not achieve immortality. Only then did his doubts disappear."

"This act of cutting off one's flesh is in line with the old Buddhist practice. He also married a wife and had children. He is a monk who only cares about food and wine. He should be my disciple and become a Buddha in the next life!"

"Wine and meat pass through the intestines, but the Buddha remains in the heart. Everyone in the world is like me. There is no Buddha in the world anymore. Hahahaha, the mantle and bowl will be passed on!"

The monk Bodhisattva also nodded and said, "There is no Bodhi tree, and the bright mirror is not a stand. The Buddha nature is always pure, where is the dust? That monk Nagarjuna can obtain the position of the past Buddha!"

The two looked at each other and then walked towards the Liangchan Temple.

These two people were naturally the incarnations of Lu Chun, and their targets were the two people from the Western Religion. Therefore, in the past, the Western Religion rebelled against Taoism and established itself as Buddhism.

And today, under the manipulation of Lu Chun, it has established its own lineage, and Western Buddhism has returned to the list of the 800 side sects of Taoism!
In the past, Laozi transformed the Hu people into Buddhas.

Lu Chun also said: Buddha is originally the Tao.

This is also a last resort.

Lu Chun took into consideration that Buddhism would inevitably be present in the world that would be devoured in the future, and Lu Chun could not simply condemn it. After much deliberation, he decided to create two clones to follow the example of the other two and manage all of Buddhism under his own name.

By then, Monk Yuanyin and Monk Puxin will be the leaders of the religion, and the Buddhist scriptures can be changed as they wish.
