Chapter 4 Death from Poison

Chapter 4 Death from Poison
Jia Hu looked at the servant expressionlessly.

"So you mean I'm not the master?" The voice was indifferent.

The servant felt that there seemed to be something different about Jia Hu in front of him, but then he thought of his status in the mansion.

Suddenly he stood in front of him, and with his height advantage, he looked down at him.
"Although you are the master, I only listen to the old lady and the master, and you can't control me."

Jia Hu narrowed his eyes and gently stroked Xiaoqing on his hand.

"Whoosh" a green light flashed by, and the servant only felt his arm numb for a moment. He lowered his head to check, somewhat confused.

Jia Hu touched Xiaoqing who had returned to his wrist and looked at the servant indifferently.

Suddenly, the servant's face turned black, his lips turned purple, and he fell to the ground with a thump.

"Ah San'er, what's wrong with you?"

Another servant had been standing not far away watching the fun, but when he noticed something was wrong he hurried over.

Jia Hu glanced at the servant who came over indifferently, then retracted his gaze and walked outside.

The servant had no time to care about Jia Hu. His face turned pale with fear. He stretched out his finger tremblingly and put it under San'er's nose.

"Oh, someone's dead. Someone's dead. San'er is dead." The servant sat down on the ground, trembling all over, and shouted hoarsely.

Soon the servants gathered around.

"what's wrong?"

"Hey, isn't this San'er? Why does he look so ugly?"

"Weren't you fine just now?"

"I don't know. I just saw him stopping Master Hu San, and then he died." The servant stammered.

"What? Dead. Dead." Everyone was shocked and hurriedly stepped back.

"Mr. Hu San? Are you talking about that wood? It can't be related to him, right?"

"What are you guessing? Hurry up and find the second master and tell the old lady..." the smart one shouted hurriedly.

Everyone then ran in panic to inform their respective masters. After all, death was a big deal, even though it was just a servant.

At this time, Jia Hu had already walked onto the street. He was wearing an ordinary blue shirt.

Because she hadn't reached the age of 18 yet, her long hair was tied up with a piece of cloth, which made her look very casual.
His handsome face was extremely indifferent, and his dark eyes showed no fluctuations at all.

Many passers-by couldn't help but look at the boy and would involuntarily make way for him.
He looked around casually. It was indeed ancient times. The air was much fresher.
He suddenly thought, in this environment, would there be more strange insects?

Thinking of this, his eyes immediately lit up and he became eager to try something.

"Well, no rush. We need to know the topography near the capital first. Sharpening the knife does not delay the chopping of wood. There will be plenty of time to look for it slowly in the future." Jia Hu slowly calmed down.

He looked up at his surroundings and found himself in a remote place without realizing it.

He frowned slightly, glanced down, and saw the old beggar lying by the wall.
He walked over, felt around, and actually pulled out a penny. He didn't know when he had put it on his body.

He picked up the copper coin and threw it gently.
"Jingle."

It fell accurately into the broken bowl, and the old beggar awoke with a start.

He hurriedly picked up the bowl, took out the copper coins and stuffed them into his arms, then looked around vigilantly.

"Tell me, where is the gambling house?" Jia Hu's cold voice sounded.

The old beggar raised his head and saw a young man standing in front of him. A trace of greed suddenly flashed in his cloudy eyes.
"Sir, are you here alone?"

As he said this, he turned around and looked around. When he found no one, he became even more excited. Jia Hu shook his head helplessly. So, it wasn't him who wanted to kill people, but some people wanted to die.

"I advise you to be kind." Jia Hu said lightly.

The old beggar smiled

"Kindness, I will certainly be kind and wait to sell you.

Now you know how kind I am." He stood up shakily and rushed towards Jia Hu viciously.

Jia Hu dodged to the side with a slight movement. The old beggar fell to the ground with a cry of "Ouch", grimacing in pain.

Jia Hu's eyes were cold, and he suddenly stepped forward, stepping on the old beggar's neck.
"Can you tell me now?" Jia Hu's voice was still so cold.

The old beggar felt the pain in his neck getting worse and worse, and a chill rose in his heart.
How come this guy is so strong? Does he really want to step on me to death?

"Please spare me, sir, please spare me. I was just blinded by lard.

Please let go of this poor old beggar like me." The old beggar suddenly cried and begged for mercy.

Jia Hu's face was calm and he continued to speak calmly.
"Where is the gambling house?"

The old beggar said quickly,

"It's in the North City. Go straight ahead along this alley. You'll see the gambling house sign when you exit the alley."

Jia Hu nodded, then he exerted force on his feet. His physique was no longer ordinary.
"Crack." The old beggar's neck made a breaking sound.

The old beggar was twitching all over, gasping for breath a few times, blood was flowing from the corner of his mouth, his eyes were wide open, and he was dead.

Jia Hu tilted his head to glance at the old beggar, then slowly withdrew his foot with an expressionless face, turned around, and strode forward.

In the silent alley, there was only the body of a beggar, which was extremely creepy.

The old beggar did not lie, and came out of the alley,

When he looked up, he saw a white cloth with the words "Gambling House" hung on it. Without hesitation, he walked straight in.

As soon as I entered, an unpleasant smell hit me in the face.

Jia Hu, however, did not show any strange expression. The smell in the place where poisonous insects gathered was much worse than this.

He glanced around the room. There were a lot of people there, all shouting and yelling with red faces. There were five gambling tables, all playing dice.

Jia Hu came in without attracting anyone's attention. He walked to the largest table.

Looking at the person blocking him in front, he frowned slightly and touched Xiaoqing. "Hiss." Xiaoqing cried twice.

In an instant, a huge centipede appeared from nowhere and ran towards Jia Hu quickly.

Jia Hu smiled, and the centipede crawled up Jia Hu's thigh.
Finally, she stopped at his hand, and nodded towards his wrist.

It really is worthy of being the king of all poisons. Now that it has been refined into a Gu, it is easier to control common poisonous insects.

Jia Hu threw the centipede in his hand towards the person in front of him, and it landed right on that person's neck.

"Ouch, what is that?"

The big man exclaimed, and hurriedly reached out to grab it, and then he caught a big centipede.

"Ah!" He screamed in fright and threw it out.
