Chapter 3 Summoner Level
In the previous seven Summoner's Tournaments, Dragon Country was eliminated in the first knockout round and was eliminated again in the resurrection round.
In the competition for the second-to-last place, they were eliminated again, and remained last for seven consecutive times, becoming a complete laughing stock of the league.
In this year's Summoner's Tournament, Dragon Country is expected to be ranked last again.
On the stage, Japan sent out Taro Kurokawa, who had the third strongest overall strength in the team.
This Taro Kurokawa is also a D-level summoner. Like Lin Muxue, he also has two D-level contracted summoned beasts.
Summoners, summoned beasts, and ferocious beasts are all divided into levels.
For example, the summoners, from low to high, are F-level summoner, E-level summoner, D-level summoner, C-level summoner, B-level summoner, A-level summoner, S-level summoner, SS-level summoner, and SSS-level summoner.
There are nine levels in total, from low to high.
Summoned beasts and ferocious beasts also correspond to these nine levels.
How to distinguish these nine levels?
It is also very simple. The levels of ferocious beasts and summoners are divided according to their strength. The stronger the summoned beast (ferocious beast), the higher the level.
The highest level summoned beast (ferocious beast) has the power to destroy the world at any time and can destroy a hundred-meter-high mountain in an instant.
As for how summoners distinguish these levels
It's also very simple.
That depends on the contract position.
First of all, to become a summoner, one needs a body that can absorb dimensional energy.
Everyone's physique is different. Some people are born with an affinity for dimensional energy and absorb it very quickly, while others can only barely absorb dimensional energy very slowly.
However, no matter how fast or slow it is, as long as you can absorb it, you will have the opportunity to become a summoner.
When you have absorbed enough dimensional energy and opened up a spiritual sea of consciousness in your body to store the dimensional energy, you can then use this dimensional energy to open the door to the dimensional world and summon.
As long as you successfully summon a ferocious beast, no matter what level it is, you become a true summoner.
However, at this time, you are just an entry-level summoner and have no level yet. The beasts you summon are very weak and cannot even beat a wild wolf.
If you want to become a real level summoner, you need to strengthen the dimensional energy in your sea of consciousness and condense a contract position in your sea of consciousness. Only then can you truly become a level summoner, an F-level summoner.
Once you reach F level, it means that you can sign a contract with a summoned beast.
As you continue to practice, you can condense two contract positions in your sea of consciousness and sign a contract with the second summoned beast. This also means that you can summon two beasts to fight at the same time. This means you have been promoted to a higher level and become an E-level summoner.
When you condense three contract positions in your sea of consciousness, and are able to sign a contract with three summoned beasts and summon three summoned beasts at the same time, you will be a D-level summoner.
Similarly, every time you condense a contract position, you will be promoted to a higher level.
And every time you level up, you can sign a contract with one more summoned beast and summon one more ferocious beast to fight at the same time.
Similarly, the higher your level and the stronger your strength, the more you can summon a summoned beast with corresponding strength.
Now there is another question, that is, what is the difference between ordinary summoned beasts and contracted summoned beasts?
It's very simple, that is, once you sign a contract with a summoned beast, you can summon it at any time.
If you don't sign a contract with a summoned beast, the summoned beast you summon each time will be random. For example, if I am an E-level summoned beast, I can sign a contract with two summoned beasts.
If I don't sign a contract, then every time I fight, the summoned beast I summon will be random. The first time I might summon a tiger, and the next time I might summon a mouse, and their strengths will vary.
It may summon a strong one or a weak one.
Once you sign a contract with a summoned beast, you can summon it at any time next time.
For example, the first time I summoned, I summoned a relatively powerful tiger. I thought this tiger was very powerful, so I signed a contract with it. Then, I can summon it at any time in the future.
Once you sign a contract with a ferocious beast, once the contract takes effect, the summoned beast will accompany you forever until you die, or it dies.
Unless you die, the contract will not disappear, and this summoned beast will always occupy one of your contract positions.
Therefore, generally speaking, a summoner will sign a contract with a powerful summoned beast to ensure his own safety.
If you never sign a contract with your summoned beast and rely on random summons when fighting, you will be very passive.
For example, you are an E-level summoned beast with two contract slots, but you just don’t sign a contract with the summoned beast, and keep the contract slots to sign a contract with a stronger summoned beast when you become stronger in the future.
Then, once you encounter danger, you can only summon it immediately.
If you summoned a weak summoned beast at this time, you would be in trouble.
Also, the randomly summoned beasts are not in tune with your thoughts, so it is difficult for you to command them to fight, and it is also difficult for them to coordinate with other summoned beasts.
This is the disadvantage of not signing a contract with the summoned beast.
Of course, there is an advantage to doing this.
As for what the benefits are.
That is, you can keep the contract position and sign a contract with a stronger summoned beast when you become stronger.
For example, I am now an F-level summoner, I have a contract slot, and I can sign a contract with a summoned beast.
However, when I was at level F, the beasts I summoned were basically all at level F, and I could only sign contracts with beasts at level F.
After I was upgraded to E-level and then D-level, I could summon more powerful summoned beasts, so my contract position was wasted by this F-level summoned beast.
A simple comparison will show the difference.
There were two summoners. One of them had a contract position when he was at level F. In order to ensure his own safety, he summoned an F-level summoned beast of similar strength and directly signed a contract with the beast.
When he reached E-level, there was one more contract slot, so he signed another E-level summoned beast. After reaching D-level, he signed another D-level summoned beast.
On the contrary, another person, when he only has one contract slot at F level, he will not sign a contract with the summoned beast and keep this contract slot. After being upgraded to E level, there is one more contract slot, but he still does not sign a contract with the summoned beast and just keeps developing.
Finally, he reached rank D and could summon D-level summoned beasts, so he signed all three empty contract slots with D-level summoned beasts.
In this way, he now has three D-level contracted beasts.
