Chapter 11 The Dangerous Marvel World
"Your pumpkin bombs are out, and I feel like I can do it again."
Charlotte pulled the spider silk, and Norman, who was wrapped into a giant cocoon, rolled continuously, and the arm device ejected dense green goblin darts.
"Puff puff puff~~"
In an instant, the spider silk was cut off, and the huge spider web was cut back and forth by the constantly rotating darts, covering the narrow alley in the sharp edge.
"Haha, kid, you underestimate the cunning devil."
Norman stood up and clicked the device on his arm, remotely controlling the darts to lock onto Charlotte's figure.
"Puff~"
Immediately, the sharp light cut off the spider silk in Charlotte's hand one after another, making it impossible for him to move flexibly through the spider silk.
In an instant, dense darts flew across Charlotte's nano battle suit, sparks burst out, but failed to break through the nano battle suit's defense.
This made Charlotte feel relieved.
Then, blue light flashed in his eyes, and with the help of artificial intelligence, he locked all the darts around him.
With his muscles tensed, he punched again and again without any effort. The flashing darts turned into scrap metal and fell to the ground at his feet.
"what?"
Norman was startled, and before he could make any move, he saw a red and blue figure approaching with the help of spider silk.
"Wait, I'm not ready yet"
"boom!!"
Charlotte threw a standard right hook, with a whistling force. Under the impact of tens of tons of punch force, Norman screamed and slammed into the wall.
"boom!!"
There was a loud bang, and the rubble slid down. The dizzy Norman just pulled his head out of the hole in the wall, and the next second Charlotte grabbed his head and slammed it against the wall continuously.
"Bang bang bang~~"
"No, stop it, I feel dizzy."
Norman wailed amidst the muffled sounds.
Without the assistance of black technology, he was slightly inferior in terms of strength. If it were not for the protection of the helmet, his head would have been cracked.
"Really? Then I'll take care of the old man's emotions."
Charlotte grinned, raised his hand to knock Norman's helmet away, and grabbed some crushed lime and applied it to his face.
"I'm going to throw some dust in your eyes."
"Damn it, stop it now, I am the most terrible demon, you can't do this to me!"
Three minutes later, Norman, his face covered in blood from being rubbed by gravel, leaned against the wall with a look of despair on his face.
"how so."
After suffering inhuman torture, Norman's eyes showed a trace of confusion.
"Oh my god, it hurts so much. You are... Charlotte. What did I just do?" He looked at Charlotte in front of him and suddenly woke up.
"Kid, I'm sorry, really. I'm sorry. That's not me. I don't want to be that kind of monster. I just want to cooperate with you. I don't really want to kill your family. Please believe me." Norman cried and held his head.
Obviously, he did not forget the fact that he threatened Charlotte with his family.
Charlotte dusted off his hands and said, "I'm sorry too. It's hard to forgive you for this. Is there any way to suppress your illness?" he asked.
Norman lowered his head and said with tears in his eyes: "There is no way, I can't do it. I have done too many wrong things and there is no turning back."
"So, kid, if you want to stop me, you can only..."
"go to hell!!"
The moment Norman roared ferociously, Charlotte's spider sense recovered and a chill rose up her back.
The danger does not come from Norman in front of him, but from behind him!
Norman has accomplices?
"What are you waiting for? Kill him!"
"Yan~"
Norman's wrist flicked out a sharp blade and attacked, but Charlotte leaped and turned around, avoiding the edge of the blade by a hair's breadth, and the blade passed over Norman's head and landed behind him.
The smooth movements are simply flawless.
Friends who have played Spider-Man know that the spin action comes from Spider-Man’s instinctive reaction and does not require any practice.
"Pfft!"
The next moment, something changed drastically. Warm blood splashed onto Charlotte's face, blurring his eyes.
Before his eyes, he saw the cold and gleaming steel claws cruelly breaking through Norman's back armor, and the bloody holes in the flesh were shocking.
"What?" Charlotte looked horrified and subconsciously took a step back.
He escaped Norman's sneak attack, but Norman was also killed by his so-called "accomplices" by mistake.
Very ironic.
"Boom!"
Suddenly, thunder flashed in the night sky and drizzle drifted into the alley.
The mysterious man slowly pulled his claws out of the flesh, and the gushing blood mixed with the rain water flowed all over the ground. Norman slowly turned around, with blood gushing out of his mouth.
The madness in his eyes quickly faded, and he seemed satisfied with this way of relief.
He smiled, with reluctance in his smile, which then turned into panic and anxiety.
"Kid, don't tell Harry, and don't be Spider-Man anymore. Go!"
With a hoarse roar, Norman threw the thing in his hand to Charlotte, then turned around and pounced on the black shadow in the darkness.
"Tear~"
Along with the sound of armor being torn apart, blood dyed the alley red.
The rain was pouring down, and the dark shadows in the rainy night were like beasts in the flood, choosing people to devour.
[You defeated the super villain, and your chance to restart is +9]
"Wow~~"
Rain kept dripping from the nano-battle suit, and Charlotte's heartbeat accelerated as she shot spider silk through the tall buildings.
He was not afraid of death, but his spider sense magnified his fear of death, causing him to instinctively stay away from the scene, not daring to stay for a moment.
Who killed Norman?
The fact that the spider sense reacted so strongly to that guy meant that he was very dangerous and he was no match for him at all.
Norman seemed to know who this person was and reminded him not to get involved.
So this is not a coincidence!
Thinking of this, Charlotte's scalp tingled.
The Marvel world seemed more terrifying than he had imagined, so terrifying that he couldn't even guess who the real enemy was.
After a moment of thought, he felt exhausted all over and his wrists could no longer shoot spider silk.
"Oops."
The feeling of weightlessness came over her. Charlotte, who was in the sky, looked stunned, as if she had anticipated her own ending.
Too much spider silk was consumed, and his body could no longer synthesize spider silk protein, and his strength was greatly weakened.
As expected, after a free fall, Charlotte crashed headfirst into the balcony of a high-rise building next to her.
"Fuck it, who would keep a python on their balcony?" he cursed.
The owner of the balcony heard the noise, he opened the doors and windows and looked at Charlotte with surprise, whose body was entangled by the golden python.
"Oh, it's Spider-Man!"
"Yes, that's me, your good neighborhood Spider-Man."
As Charlotte spoke, he locked the python's head with one hand, carefully pulled off the python hanging on his body, and then noticed the pizza in the man's hand.
"Hey, Jack, is this your dinner?"
He casually threw the python aside, walked up to the man and greeted him skillfully, then took the pizza from him without leaving any trace.
The nanometal squirmed, revealing the lower half of its face, and Charlotte stuffed the pizza into its mouth.
"No, I'm not Jack, my name is..." the man tried to explain.
"Okay, Jack, have a good night."
Charlotte took all the pizzas and walked towards the door.
"Yeah, it's really good, beef."
"Wait, that's the toilet, the door is on the left." The man reminded with a confused look on his face.
"Thank you, Jack, and give my regards to Ruth."
As Charlotte left, the woman walked out of the bedroom and asked with a bad look, "Who is Ruth?"
The man shrugged. "I don't know."
"Jason, you've been exposed."
"Wait, let me explain."
In the corridor, Charlotte heard a quarrel coming from the room and immediately scratched her head.
"Strange, would anyone quarrel over having Spider-Man hiding in the house?"
